I am Franziska, married with 2 children and I have been very fortunate to live in Switzerland for over 13 years now. I have always been active in the field of sustainability, in the financial sector and in consulting. At some point it was no longer enough for me to help companies become more sustainable, greener, in order to gain a better reputation, or to explain sustainable investment products. I did no longer want to just talk about impact. I wanted to create impact while giving everyone the opportunity to make a difference, daily through simple choices. I also wish to show companies that they can link their core products with creating positive impact and that this will generate great interest from society and customers. Customers are increasingly interested in where their products come from and what impact, both positive and negative, they have.

I wrote the concept for We Care many years ago as part of my diploma thesis. 10 years later I wondered why nobody had taken up this simple idea yet?! Now I have two small children and they inspire me every day to make the world a better place. So, it was time to implement the idea. That’s why we are here today.
